Terms of Service
These terms govern your engagement with Storefront Studio, a brand of Deta Technologies ("we", "us"). By booking a discovery call or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
Storefront Studio provides custom mobile application development for iOS and Android. Each engagement is scoped individually during a discovery call and confirmed in a written project brief before work begins.
2. Pricing and payment
All projects are priced at a flat fee agreed before work begins. No hourly rates, no change-order markups beyond the agreed scope. Tiers are:
- Starter — $1,500 flat
- Studio — $3,000 flat
- Signature — $4,500 flat
A deposit is required to reserve a build slot. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the staging build. Payment is processed via Stripe or bank transfer.
3. Refund policy
If you are not satisfied with the staging build delivered on or around day three, you may request a full refund of your deposit and we will cease work with no further obligation on either side. No refunds are issued after the staging build has been approved and the app has been submitted to the App Store.
4. Ownership
Upon receipt of full payment, you own all deliverables — including source code, App Store listings, and associated assets. We retain no license to your app after delivery. We may reference the project publicly as past work unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Maintenance plan
The optional $75/month maintenance plan covers hosting infrastructure, OS-level updates, security patches, and minor content changes (menu items, hours, copy). It does not cover new features, flow changes, or integrations, which are scoped and quoted separately. Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice.
6. Timeline
Build timelines (3–7 days) begin from the date the signed project brief and deposit are received. Timelines assume timely feedback from the client at designated review checkpoints. Delays caused by client unavailability may extend the timeline accordingly.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storefront Studio's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
